I love supporting local Lethbridge shops! Especially home decor and apparel. When I heard Urban Cowgirl had items in your store, I just had to check it out. I visited today (April 22) and was really disappointed in my experience. Despite all of the cute stuff and great selection of items the lack of customer service was very disappointing. As a new store this should be a priority and I can truthfully say I will not come back. When we entered we were the only people in the store. Other than the lady working chatting with a gentleman. We figured she would acknowledge us as we approached the counter.. no. She did not acknowledge us until I went to pay for the item I grabbed. We were in the store for over 20 minutes, I tried on several different kimonos and not once did she offer to help us. It was disheartening that the only time she acknowledged me was after I had made a $60.00 purchase. I will be shopping directly from the local talent rather than coming by. Two other groups came in while we were shopping and had the same lack of acknowledgment. Very disappointed, but love my kimono from Urban Cowgirl.

Hi Kendall, I am so sorry that you had a negative experience in my shop. I take this very much to heart as I have put my heart and soul into this little shop. My store is my passion and I truly want everyone to feel welcome and leave inspired. The girl that was working that day had been in the emergency room with early labor contractions a few days previous. I told her to just close the store but she felt bad and went to work anyway. So I told her to just sit and take it easy. She has not had an easy pregnancy and my concern was her and her baby's health. I am sorry if you weren't greeted properly but maybe if you had understood the circumstances you would have been a little more compassionate to the situation. She is such an amazing girl that she went to work anyway and brought her husband with her to make sure she was ok.

Heather and I found Becky's store through a friend and we were blown away at Becky's service and attention she gives all her customers. Her stock is always changing and has custom options on her hand made items. Drop in to say Hi, you don't know what you'll find at this local gem.
